Who are Bob and Pat Holdstock?

Every step matters. Every story counts.

Life in God’s Kingdom isn’t just a belief—it’s a journey. One that begins even before we realize it. Behind the scenes, Holy Spirit gently nudges us, guiding our hearts toward a moment that changes everything: when we see Jesus for who He truly is—our Lord, our Saviour, our King.

For both Pat and I, that journey started in childhood. (I was born at a very early age!)

We were raised in Christian homes, but it was in 1951 that I (Bob) made a personal, life-altering commitment to Christ. From that moment on, everything shifted. Pat's experience was very similar.

Since then, we’ve walked through decades of joy and heartache, trials and triumphs, questions and breakthroughs. We’ve witnessed some amazing miracles, wrestled with challenges, and stood firm—not because we had all the answers, but because God's promises never failed. They still don’t.

This is what it means to live in His Unshakable Kingdom: not a life without storms, but a life with a foundation that can’t be moved.

Our Foundation

What we believe shapes how we live.

Here’s what has anchored us through 58 years of marriage, 62 years of ministry, and mission—and continues to anchor our family today:

​

• The Bible is the inspired Word of God, revealed by Holy Spirit.

• God is One, yet triune: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

• Every person is in need of salvation—no one is excluded.

• Salvation comes by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone.

• Jesus lived a sinless life, died in our place, to reconcile us to God.

• He rose again, conquering sin, death, and the power of darkness for us.

• Today, Jesus reigns, seated at the Father’s right hand, interceding for us.

• Holy Spirit has been sent to dwell in us—guiding, empowering, and revealing God’s heart.

• Jesus will return, and with Him, eternal life for those who are His.

• Judgment is real, and those who reject Christ will face separation along with Satan and his demons.​                                                                                                                        

We’re not theologians—we’re fellow travelers. We’ve spent our lives learning, unlearning, and relearning under the gentle, powerful guidance of Holy Spirit.

We’ve seen enough to know this: God’s Word is true, His Kingdom is real, and His love never lets go.
